Start your own fundraising campaign. Build awareness. Turn your concern into action.
The plight of the orphaned and abandoned girls of India has struck a chord with you. . .you feel it….and now, you want to do something to stand with them. Here's how: Become a Homes of Hope Ambassador. Reach out to your wide circle of family, friends, colleagues and neighbors and help us transform the lives of our girls in India.
Our supporters turn their daily life and special events into opportunities to help Homes of Hope, organizing corporate fundraisers, asking for donations in lieu of birthday gifts, memorial flowers, and for other events. You can turn your endurance training--marathons and triathlons--into awareness-building and fundraising opportunities. Yoga teachers offer donation-based classes, transforming their yoga practice into service.
Maybe you'd like to plan a fundraiser or event for you and your colleagues, like our friend Katy at AXA Financial in Charlotte, NC, raising over $11,000 among AXA employees across the globe. Katy brought together American employees of AXA and their Indian coworkers in a day of fun and service at our Bangalore Home of Hope. It is a perfect way to create a team spirit for employees who work at great distances from one another.
Use the many online tools at your fingertips--email lists, Facebook and Twitter connections--to jump-start your effort. Your enthusiasm and love for orphaned and abandoned girls in India will inspire others and they will want to help.
