Provide primary education for Indian girls.

Support her education and build her future.

At Homes of Hope India, we are focused on the immediate day-to-day needs of each girl, but our long term goal is to lay the foundation for her success as a young woman. By supporting the primary education of girls who live in our Homes of Hope, we are investing in the opportunities she will encounter in the future. And, by investing in girls, we are enriching the communities they will inhabit as women, as educated girls are more likely than their male peers to invest their own resources in health, family and community.

With just $300, you can sponsor a girls’ annual tuition and fees, opening access to high quality education. Consider this:

“Of the approximately 75 million children who are currently not in school, the majority are girls. Worldwide, for every 100 boys out of school, there are approximately 122 girls who lack access to education. In developing countries and countries with strict cultural and religious codes regarding gender roles, this gap is much wider: For every 100 boys out of school in Yemen, there are 270 girls, in Iraq 316 girls, and in India 426 girls.” (From Half the Sky movement Fast Facts.)

Together, we can change this for the girls of Homes of Hope. We can provide opportunity and lay a course for the future, defined by self-determination. These girls have a right to an education and we can ensure that they get it.
